2020 Dodge Charger Hellcat Widebody with AWD and Twin Turbos Teased Again

We still don’t have the juicy details on the 2020 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat widebody that features a full carbon fiber body, all-wheel-drive and a twin turbo setup, but the folks at Speedkore offered up this basic teaser image today, a few days ahead of the start of the show.

Earlier this month, we brought you the story of the 2020 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody that features a Speedkore full carbon fiber body, an all-wheel-drive system and a twin turbo setup that we are guessing comes from the team at Gearhead Fabrications. As we mentioned above, details are short, but Speedkore and Gearhead Fabrications worked together on the twin turbocharged Demon that Leah Pritchett drove to the world record, so it seems likely that the two companies worked together on this super sedan.

We don’t have any new information on this carbon fiber Charger, but Speedkore shared the picture above today, reminding us of what could be the hottest custom production-based car at the 2019 SEMA Show.

2020 Charger Widebody Teaser
While we have already seen the carbon fiber 2020 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody from the side, this is the first shot that we have seen of the front end. Sure, we can only see a small portion of the front end, but this is really all that we need to see. A turbocharger is tucked behind an opening in the front fascia, just below the headlight, with a pair of exhaust ports sticking out of the carbon fiber front fender.

2020 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat in Carbon Fiber

We know that this car has a twin turbocharger system rather than the factory supercharger setup, and we know that the Hellcat Hemi has been replaced with a “Demon-based engine”, which has a stronger bottom end, allowing it to better handle the boost pressure of the twin turbos. It also has a custom Magnaflow exhaust system, and it will debut on Tuesday at SEMA in the booth of that well-known exhaust company.

The bottom line here is that the picture above is our first look at the turbo location of the 2020 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody with the Speedkore carbon fiber body. It will have all-wheel-drive and a twin turbo setup that we expect will yield more than a thousand horsepower at all four wheels.
