Whenever something new comes out, those of us who are hype-allergic inevitably react negatively. This isn't going to replace pickup trucks. It will replace some pickup trucks, and some SUVs. My company will inevitably acquire electric trucks and vans because all our work is within a 30-mile radius and it makes economic sense. But they are not going to be this model of Teslas, that's for sure. My wife's next car will be electric. But I'm quite happy with my ICE truck and hot rod, thank you very much.
