It could still be in the plans. With the RedEye Hellcat supercharged engine already making just under 800HP, raising the boost a bit without compromising reliability would be a simple task. Mopar already makes the 1000HP, 7.0L Hellephant crate motor. But car companies usually strategically plan the timing of product announcements, so we may just see this power bump announced again early next year. For my money I still believe that the best real-world performance improvements would be accomplished by adding AWD as an option for all Hellcat models.
