The Gen 3 converters are not the ones the thieves are after....those cars use an EGR system to reduce Nox emissions hence the blown head gaskets The EGR coolers tend to carbon up and send most of the recirculated exhaust into the front cylinder making it burn cooler than the adjacent cylinder
