That would only make sense if the dealership was paying for the rental, however, I believe that it is Fords responsibility to pay for the rental. I would probably call another dealership in your area and see if they could help you on the rental arrangements with Ford, and/or call the dealership where you bought the car and demand that they get you a rental from Ford!
