I have 2009 ford fusion, ABS light has been on and won't go off, got the recall notice about the brake fluid, toke it to ford dealer to have fixed, them can back to me and said I have to get the ABS light fixed before they will change the brake fluid for the recall, the cost would be $995, in PA the ABS light can be on and it passes inspection, do I have to have the ABS light fixed to have the recall done ? could it be that the ABS light is on due to the old brake fluid ? thanks
