Took my recalled 2006 Fusion in for air bag and brake recall. They did a scan and got a bad thermostat code. That light has been on for years and over a hundred thousand miles. I was told the only issue was the possibility of the heater not working. Heater works fine. Anyway, Ford refused to perform the brake recall unless the thermostat issue is fixed. Guess they want to be certain your heater works more than they want to prevent an accident.
