Regarding Ford recall, 19S54, I own a 2008 Mazdza 3, which had this same type of failure occur. When the vehicle was built, I know the companies were using each other's parts. I have a FoMoCo dipstick and my brake calipers are FoMoCo. Could this same ABS hydraulic unit have been installed on my vehicle? I had to pump the brakes up to stop, with no fluid leakage. The repair was $1200 at the local Mazda dealer.
