If you are experiencing this problem you need to complain to the NHTSA as well as Ford. NHTSA will make Ford extend the recall if they get enough complaints. Ford complaints go nowhere. There is a complaint process on the NHTSA web site that wasn't hard to navigate but we all need to complain to be counted and make them change. In teh meantime I did what the service order said Ford would do, flush the system with Dot 4, once I did that my valve went back closed and the issue seems better. I didn't want to replace the ABS valve assembly $750 part.
