My experience is similar to Sharon's [Sharon wrote on July 26, 2021]
I have a 2009 Accord 4 cyl. The VSA/ECL lights came on just after I started the car, already warm from a prior short trip; the engine cranked a lot longer than usual to turn over (a clue). I turned the key to position II and depressed the gas pedal for a few seconds - which didn't work. So I repeated turning the key to position II and depressed the gas pedal again, this time for maybe 8 seconds. The car started up fine, no VSA light, no ECL light.

Two previous ECL lightings I've experienced had to do with the gas cap. Hope this helps someone.
