I just got off the phone with Toyota Customer Experience Center (1-888-270-9371) only to be told that my 2010 Prius was manufactured in Japan and that it is not on the recall list. They can't tell me if/when the car will be recalled.
I suggest that you call them ans ask about your car being taken care of. They won't be able to do anything since their job is provide canned answers written by lawyers but maybe the sheer number of calls will push them to do something.
