I own a LEXUS gx 470 with the blizzard pearl. I had mine start at least 3-4 years ago. Small crack which chipped to metal. I fought JM Lexus and kept saying nothing they can do. Its obviously a bad primer or metal or something. But I spend 100 thousand of dollars in JM and over 85 in body shop who are good. So finally after me getting the GM of Body Shop they called about 2 years ago and lexus only agreed to pay 60%. And only paint roof, doors from windows to molding and my tailgate by the window just started. Ifs funny how the aftermarket spoiler had no problem and hood and front fenders are perfect and molding down is fine. so are running boards. So I sent it in and all these extra charges like end caps for roof rack 600, 50 a door handle and 1500 they wanted to paint into my front fender for blending. Yet I had an accident 3 months prior and they never painted the fender into the door. I said absolutely not you going to be painting something brand new. sO i pulled it out. All new parts no crack/peel down to metal. So I just saw the same vehicle for sale on ebay. Same color and noticed his was doing the same peeling. Which brought me here. Im embarrassed to drive it because its washed every week and waxed 3 months but roof is destroyed and doors keep getting worse and worse. But its around windows and just erroneous cracks which flake dow to METAL then the rust begins. Lexus and Toyota fix your issue. The bad advertising alone should not make people like me who only buy lexus ls adjust got GX 460 but still have my 470 because its a great truck. But cant sell a car with no paint. I fought a long time and the service would even laugh which really pisses me off.
