I have 2016 Tacoma that is super White color and the paint has started to fake off the vehicle also the clear coat is completely gone from the hood of the truck and about 3/4 of the top of truck. I have contacted Toyota but the impression I got was they are not gonna fix the problem which I requested a re paint because when I took in for them to inspect it they said the super white and Pearl white colors have a defect in them to we’re the chemicals are breaking down and causing the paint to flake. I only have 48,000 miles on the truck. It seems to me that the Super white and Pearl white Tacoma should have been included in the recall because it’s not a specific vehicle but instead the color. I’m waiting on the areas to rust so it will fall under the corrosion warranty then.
