Your first call should be to your dealer. They are likely more than happy to help. Next, try to connect any other phone. A friend's or relatives. If that phone connects your phone is likely the issue not the car. Try "Forgetting" the connection between both your car and the phone. Then start again with a fresh connection. I have found that helps in some test cars I have driven. The LG 5 was introduced in Feb of 2016, so it is not new, but not old either. Let us know if the issue is eventually resolved. Good luck!
