Same here. We are looking at the 2020 Highlander and thought we'd go for the XLE, but the extras on the Limited looked to be worth the upgrade for us. It is a deal breaker without the factory hitch. It's really a foolish problem. I would think almost everyone looking at a Highlander would need the hitch. I hope they find a solution soon!
