Foot sensor is hard to move as it is a long wire loop that detects motion and it would be bad if hatch opens when you don't want it to or closes when some legs are hanging out. Just toss the foot sensor and use the hand button to open and close hatch. Toyota hitch for 2020 Highlander XLE works and looks fine.
