I love diesel for towing and mpgs but unfortunately diesels get a bad rep for being dirty as automakers are phasing them out and just sticking with gas and electric... I also think the EGR system on them really kills the performance and mpgs... EGRs can clog up and get dirty. I have a Chevrolet Colorado 2.8 diesel and it's been solid but GM is dropping it and their 3.6 v6 for a stupid twin turbo 4 cylinder gas.
