I own a 3.0 ford diesel. 10 speed Trans. Previous 7.3 -4 speed.
I love this small turbo. Just drove 3k miles thru the west. Many state speed limits 80. This engine had plenty of peddle at 80-85 mph. Passing had plenty of power even at 100. Fuel milage never lower than 25.7 at 80, if I kept at 75 frequently exceeded 30 miles to gallon.
Also have 7500 lb trailer tows easily at 60 70 mph.
Gph doing that 18. 60 mph over western high mountain passes, ok only got 12 -16 miles per gallon then.
If ford discontinued this engine would be foolish. More people need to experience the future before guessing what about the experience.
