I read this article, obviously drawn in, by the phrase "You Won't Believe the Fine Print". Well I went to the Mazda website. I followed a link that took me to the "Essential Car Care Fact Sheet2" page. I read the page. I find nothing unbelievable about it. The sheet specifies the people, organizations, and vehicles that are eligible for this service. Kudos to Mazda. The vehicles excluded are exotic cars, classic cars, off-road vehicles, vehicles with over 8-quart capacity, or vehicles with special manufacturers requirements. These excluded vehicles sometimes require special tools, oils, expertise to work on these vehicles. Once again, kudos to Mazda for recognizing vehicles that have special servicing needs.
I hope the title of this article is meant to disparage Mazda. They are certainly going above and beyond with this service.
