I completely agree with you! I called Ford and spoke to customer service and when I got a canned response, I asked to speak to a supervisor ...I was given a case number and advised I would hear back...its been over 2 weeks and I am still waiting. Customer service said it is not a safety issue and I begged to differ... What happens when the water floods the electrical system and it shorts out when I am driving home in the dark? I would suggest a good lawyer can get a jury to believe it is a safety problem that caused my death or severe injury in such a case... Perhaps it may take a few 6 figure payouts payouts by Ford for them to fix THEIR problem.
