Nothing wrong with the CVT. Subaru's perform well and the reliability has been at least as good as AT/MT transmissions, statistically, after the 2014 models. What they need to do is bring back low range, or better yet, just work low range into the CVT itself. The infinite gear ratios would be absolutely amazing for that, with no need to switch between hi and lo.
