Prius charging states is 40%-80% as low and full bar. Computer knows how much to charge for the best of the car battery life. In all battery, full charge is the most damaging state except for 12v acid battery. Same thing with your Li battery . But NiMh has less problem with liquid solid interface like in Li. That's why NiMh has 15 years warranty nut Li only 10 y on hybrid toyota in UK / Ireland with mild weather
