My 2019 Tesla Model 3 with 26K miles has regenerate braking that is so strong that I rarely use the brakes except at low speeds when I correct any mis-judgements in stopping distance. I've read that the brakes are expected to last 100K < 150K miles because of their light use. The same is true on my 2017 Prius Prime Plug-In Hybrid with 105K miles, but there is very little regen-braking. However, on inspecting the brakes at 100K miles, my mechanic said they are only worn to 1/2 thickness and do not need replacing yet. The tire mileage on. the Prius is about 70 < 75K miles, however, the heavier, torquey Tesla promises me about 40 < 45K miles of wear (245/45SR18)
, driving normally. However, on the original set, my "Boy Racer" zeal required new tires at only 13K miles! OUCH! So, I stopped that kind of driving. / - :
