I actually love the TLX and wanted to buy one. But with the Accord having a de-tuned Type R engine, it's a beast for a family sedan. a Stock TLX will never beat the comparable stock Accord sadly. For the price difference, it makes zero sense to buy a TLX over an accord. Simply put, the Acura Logo, SH AWD, and other premium features are not worth an extra $10k.... come one... Also to mention, the TLX Type S, which is supposed to be the excitement, the performance is quite sub par. Compare the new Type S with the Type R, the Type S has 3.0L Turbo engine with 355HP and 354 Torque, vs 2.0L Turbo with 306HP and 295Lb Torque and manual transmission, the Type S could only do 5.2 secs 0-60mph and about 13.x quarter mile? That's very disappointing coz the Type R can achieve a similar result. so Accord and Type R any time, over the TLX and Type S. Type S also does not have stick for a sports car. Really?
