The first Subaru I ever drove was a 1981 Wagon with 'On-demand Dual-range 4 Wheel drive my brother's girl friend let me borrow for a ski trip drive from South Lake Tahoe, California to Salt Lake City, We hit a blizzard crossing Nevada on Interstate 80. The car performed so excellently, and was so comfortable for the whole drive, I was sold on Subaru. My first Subaru was a 1985 Legacy Wagon with the same 'On-demand 4WD. I am now on my 6th Subaru, a 2015 Outback Wagon; had an '87, '96, '01, '09, & now the 2015. All my Subbies went over 200K miles without a wrench put on them, just oil changes & normal maintenance. Nuff said?
