Debating right now because I need a new car (my old one is 2001 Jeep Cherokee). I'm seriously considering getting the new Mach-E, but the old adage of not getting the first year of a new concept is part of my hesitation, though over air updates lower that concern a little. The other thing making me hesitate is that the new 2021 Ford Bronco is just so darn awesome looking that maybe I want that instead. The other on top of that is there are a TON of other EVs coming out. The Rivian in early 2022 is twice as expensive as this one and a full SUV, but it looks amazing! Then Volkswagon is supposed to bring back the mini-bus next year as an EV and that looks like I could practically live in it. With all the Covid delays I might just spend a little money to fix my current 20 year old car and wait. I will say that for my first EV I really like what Ford has done to incorporate the future with the tablet, but still keep some old creature comforts that the Tesla's have done away with (i.e. I don't want to use the tablet to open glove box or adjust steering wheel height). I think this will help my Forty-something self make the transition.
