Recalls come through the government 90% of the time. Ford is not likely to voluntarily recall this. Especially at the early part of the launch/build. I do think it's an issue. Ford has been dismissive about the rust, brushing it aside that it was just cosmetic. To me, a new vehicle with only a little bit of mileage should not have rust issues.
