Scrap yards by them. Metal recyclers by them. There are rare earth metals found in the catalytic converter’s that they sell on that secondary market for a lot of money. Honestly we need to start having more requirements for the people that are purchasing them. I live near a scrap metal recycler and every morning when they open and there is a line of people waiting to sell catalytic converter’s.
