We bought a 2010 Toyota Prius new we serviced the engine every 6000 miles at the Toyota dealership instead of the 10,000 recommended by the factory our Prius started using oil at 80,000 miles and it used almost a quart every 2-3 weeks just local commuting Toyota has a problem with oil consumption with Prius we had to sell his car to discount just to get out from this oil guzzler
