Middle-row seats not removable?! Very hard to fathom why Toyota did that as it certainly reduces its versatility - makes it more of an SUV than a minivan. It's getting time to replace my 2004 Sienna and with this change, the 2022-generation will be off my evaluation list. Being able to easily remove the middle seats to carry 4'x8' panels and furniture has been wonderful. And we have removed both the middle and rear seats (just 2 easily accessible bolts hold each rear seat half) for maximum storage for month-long cross-country vacations.
