I’ve got a 2020 Outback XT and the feature barely works to begin with. I’d be happy to save a minute of gas here and there but when it kicks on, most of the time it’s maybe 15s. The engine needs to be heated and pretty much all electrical needs to be off. Along with several other issues (HVAC, infotainment), I cannot believe that CR recommended it. I’m glad I leased.
