Hi, My 2016 Forester uses a quart about every 1300 miles at 232000 miles and has before 100,000 miles. Dealer put in new valve cover gaskets, and changed the oil to 0-30W (I think), anyway whatever the recommended oil is. This cost more than the blue book. I burnt a quart in under 400 miles. I currently add a quart of 0-40W when the light goes on. I guess I only change the oil to get a new filter. I carry 3 quarts of 0-40W in the back. Should I change to 5-30W?
