What I would like to know is
What I would like to know is how many of the Tesla repairs have anything to do with them being electric vehicles. More likely they're silly things like improperly installed door seals or misaligned panels. That speaks to Tesla build quality not to an inherent unreliability of an electric powertrain. I've never once heard of an EV motor breaking down and the batteries have proven to last a long time (except in Leafs, because Nissan for some reason figured a proper thermal management system was unnecessary). Even fires, which are all the rage in headlines, are statistically less likely to occur than with an internal combustion engine.
