Meh. Honestly I’ve pretty much lost interest at this point. Sad as I own a 2018, but all the hype and long wait for a car that won’t offer anything ground breaking for the model is going to be hugely anticlimactic. Let me guess between 280 and 290 HP, small improvement to the manual transmission and ride quality. They will carry over the CVT instead of using the decent automatic in the BRZ with a bit of a rework. Actually I’m feeling the 290 is too optimistic. All that and at first glance you’d be able to mistake it for last years model.

They’ve just about beaten the WRX and STI monikers to death with the constant hype and under delivering.
