We are in the home stretch, ladies and gentlemen.

Yes, we are approaching the final leg of the 2022 Toyota Tundra teaser reveal campaign.

I know this because I was on the Tundra website this morning and realized we only have a couple reveal picture boxes that are still empty.

What does this mean, though?

2022 Toyota Tundra Release Date

Toyota has been taking us with them on the longest ride ever of a single generation. In other words, we are in the final stages of the third generation 2022 Tundra reveal campaign.

Tundra second generation has been with us since 2007. As they say in Lion King, “It is time”. Toyota seems like it is taking just as long to pull the drapes off this new 2022, too. I kid. I kid.

Many people have enjoyed the slow reveal process. It is exciting in a way to see what will come next. Others wish we could just get all the new Tundra specs all at once.

As for when 2022 Toyota Tundra details will be finally made public, well there are guesses.

Toyota gave us a prior teaser picture that showed next-gen Tundra interior. The picture in question shows a smartphone with the time “9:19”. Many Tundra fans think this indicates a reveal date of September 19th (9/19). And, if the reveal is not the 19th of September, then when?

We believe new Toyota Tundra 2022 trucks will be available for retail sale by end of year, but there is no official confirmation on this yet.

2022 Tundra Teaser Pictures

At the 2022 Tundra website, there are 12 picture boxes that show different information about what we can soon expect from our favorite full-size truck.

We have learned about a new iFORCE MAX engine or powertrain or something. We have seen a full picture of a white Tundra TRD PRO.

Plus, we have seen small glimpses of 2022 Tundra interior features. These include panoramic moonroof, wireless charging, red seats, a very large multimedia screen, multi-terrain select and crawl control.

We know there will be a TRD skid plate with red lettering. There will be FOX shocks and multi-link rear suspension with coil springs.

And then there are two boxes. Grayed out. Still empty.

“Coming Soon”.

Toyota Tundra Specifications Reveal

There is still much information to be made public about 2022 Toyota Tundra.

We would love to know so much more with these two teaser pictures. Fuel efficiency numbers. Maybe available trim levels. Horsepower and torque numbers. Towing capacity and payload thresholds.

Or maybe accessories we can install to customize our new Tundra trucks. Or interior options. New safety features. Technology maybe.

Only two boxes left.

Time for your Next-Gen Toyota Tundra Comments

Believe me, I know most of you reading my story right now want the full monty next. The whole nine yards. All the Tundra details and specs.

However, just roll with me here and imagine that we will be seeing two more teaser boxes filled before we get everything.

What information, details, pictures, video clips or other random potpourri are you hoping comes next?
