The reason it impacts virtually all manufacturers is that the harness makers all use the same bio plastics in the manufacturing of the harnesses these days. There are also a relatively small number of suppliers across the market that make harnesses for all the manufacturers.

That said: as evidence in my case. Vehicle was parked in an open area, with some trees scattered around at a busy campground. Vehicles was left unmoved for only 36 hours, and a rodent or squirrel did $5000 damage to harness completely disabling the vehicle.

This isn’t a creature following their natural need to trim their teeth. They were attracted to the vehicle. There’s no doubt about that.
