I just bought one of the last sti s built from this generation on the Dec 31st . Customers always want either the first new model year or the last available from the previous generation. Pretty sure that has added to the sales increase along with the hatred of the new look coming soon. I personally don't really hate the new one either but I wouldn't have been able to buy a sti for at least a year and pretty sure my current one will be sought after in the future. If the new one they come out with has substantially more power, i will upgrade to that one when it becomes available.
