11,000 miles, one trip? I would not ride 11,000 miles on one trip with my family for any reason. That's 147 hours at 75 mph. Sheeze! Don't get to see much do you? Oh, so it's not all at that speed. O.K. So, let's say 200 miles per day.
That works out to to 55 days. Almost two months of driving. Who gets that much time off? Who want's to drive that much? Sounds suspiciously false to me.
