I own a 2015 soul base that I bought new. It's been great, it has close to 200,000 mi on it now and the most expensive repairs have been maintenance items like tires, and wheel bearings once.

It's also been relatively easy to do my own maintenance on. I've been able to change spark plugs, change the front brakes and back brakes, only the back brakes needed a loaner tool from the parts store, crankshaft position sensor and a number of other things myself.
