I have owned 3 Subaru Foresters quickly realised that they had excellent off road capabilities. With permanent AWD and no computers trying to control the traction they were the best field machines. They were right up there with Land Rover Defenders, as a farmer (76yo) I believe my brain & knowledge are far better than any kid sitting in an office!
