I don't put the blame solely in Subaru. Toyota owns 40% stake in Subaru making it the largest shareholder. This gives it immense leverage in the board room. I find it peculiar that the rally inspired segments grand champion (STi) would be canceled out of the blue when it was said to be ready for debut only to have Toyota unveil its rally car contender ( GR Corolla) just a matter of days afterwards. I think everyone can connect the dots here.
