If we had, say, Norway's charging infrastructure, I'd have already switched. And that's even before considering Norway's EV incentives and ICE penalties. The issue for now is that we need a great many more DC high speed chargers -- they really ought to be a standard feature at gas stations and fast-food or fast-casual restaurants -- and also better support particularly in apartment buildings with communal or assigned parking. (We already make it fairly easy for private homeowners with off-street parking). In Norway, the ratio of DC chargers to EVs is improving thanks to government support, while in the US it's deteriorating as private companies keep waiting for each other or the government to take the lead, and queues are resulting.
