There is a lot to this. Scotty does plenty of research before he puts anything out there. And he does an amazing job creating content that resonates with the many different people in his audience.
Some of us absorb hours of technical streams every day because we need detailed information to form opinions. Then some of us just don't have the time or the attention span to sit through boring videos full of statistics and technically detailed information and may not require such detail for the message to sink in. Scotty creates good content, combined with his interesting character he gets his message to a huge audience.
