I was lucky enough to sample this special Subaru in its 22 model year version. The current Wilderness returned the same or better MPG as my '16 Forester 2.5i Premium on my adventures on pavement and off. I'm a geek about recording mileage, and I was very impressed that it did so well. Fantastic vehicle.
