Car Exhaust System Building 101 DIY Fail

For a little TGIF humor, here’s one of those “you just have to see it to believe it” wonders about a DIY mechanic who apparently gets his car repair parts and supplies out of a Home Depot.

Just When You Think You’ve Seen It All
One of the joys of working on someone else’s car or offering to a help neighbor who is trying something beyond his paygrade with his car is when you occasionally bear witness to a DIY fail that is nearly unbelievable…until you see it.

A great example is a recent Just Rolled Out YouTube video where a mechanic does a show and tell of one car owner’s vehicle where someone attempted to build a DIY exhaust system for a 1987 Volkswagen Rabbit convertible using a wide range of supplies from a Home Depot or similar store.

Enough said, so sit back and take a little time to depressurize from the work week with this exhaust system DIY build fail that is truly incredulous.
