I found the opposite regarding the mileage obtained with this tire. I have a 2013 Jetta hybrid. Over the years mileage has dropped 1 to 1.5 mpg. With my last set of Continentals I got 41 - 43 mpg. Same or better with the 2 previous sets. Continental discontinued these tires. The car has 185,000 miles. I read about these Crossclimate2 tires and saw comments about lower mpg but nothing major. I put on a set about 5 - 6 weeks ago. My mpg immediately dropped to 36 - 37 mpg even with 45 psi. I returned the Michelins to Discount Tire for a set of Yokohamas. As soon as I drove out of Discount, I felt the lower rolling resistance. I'm sure the traction of the Michelins would have great but we didn't have bad weather while I had them (Golden, CO). That is my experience. You should publish this.

but it was nothing major.
