The small size of the Maverick would make it a perfect PHEV format (would be more efficient and PHEV could give it more towing capacity). I hope Ford, Hyundai (Santa Cruz) or someone does this (Honda Pilot, Subaru Baja ver 2.0?). But if you just need it for around town… maybe a small EV pickup would be better? Toyota may have one, eventually.
