Yes bring back the manual!

I have a 2002 Outback with 344k on the clock. I expect to get 500k!

Hate automatic gearboxes with a passion, and will not be investing in a new Subaru that has an automatic gearbox.

While they are considering the return of the manual gearbox, how about a hybrid Outback?
