It was good to read the comments - as my '24 CX5 Soul Red with just 2,000 miles has 3 chips on the hood. Seems Mazda has not 'fixed' the problem that was recognized in previous years. Sent a note to the Scottsdale AZ dealership last week - was wondering why they didn't respond. My next call will be to a local body shop.

I disagree with the author's 'tough luck' conclusion. Previous car red Mini Countryman '2011 - $160K miles - very few.
