Basically a good article. I would add 1 point. Repair costs are are stupid expensive. The shops I have talked to have stopped working with Tesla because Tesla is really effing hard to work with and deal with. This leads to fewer shop availability and much higher repair costs. If Tesla insurance feels the pain, they might start doing a reasonable job of enabling shops to work on their products and also certifying more repair facilities. Availability is a problem with my Lucid, but I had my Lucid repaired using a non-certified shop (that works on my corvettes, so I trust them) and Lucid went well above and beyond enabling the shop to repair my vehicle.
